OAH Rulemaking Activities

The Office of Administrative Hearings encourages the public to be involved in the rulemaking process by attending public hearings and submitting comments on proposed rules. You can find information on current rulemaking activities below or by clicking on the link to the OAH Semi-Annual Rulemaking Agenda.

Rulemaking Activities in 2025

WACs 10-08-150 and 160

CR-101 filed on March 5, 2025, WSR 25-06-084 to update WACs 10-08-150 and 10-08-160 regarding the qualification process for Washington court-certified interpreters in accordance with RCW 2.43.

WAC 10-16-010

This section will be updated to clarify the process for the public to submit oral and written complaints about administrative law judges.

Chapter 10-08 WAC

CR-101 filed on October 19, 2022, WSR 22-21-142 to update the Model Rules to ensure compliance with RCW 34.05.220(5) and 34.05.250.  An agency study is ongoing including review of statutory changes and development of a charter for stakeholder input.
