When can I expect to receive a decision?
The judge will tell you at the hearing how long they have to make a decision. The judge will usually not make a decision at the hearing. If the judge has asked for additional documents, it may take them longer to issue the decision.
What if I disagree with the decision?
If you disagree with the judge’s decision you have the right to appeal. The written decision will include instructions on how to appeal. Be sure to follow the instructions. There are strict deadlines and requirements.
