I no longer need a hearing. I still received a Notice of Hearing. How do I cancel the hearing?

If you have questions or if you no longer want a hearing, you can call the Agency Representative listed on your notice of hearing. You can also contact OAH to withdraw (cancel) the hearing.

The Agency Representative needed paperwork from me. I gave them what they needed. Is this hearing still necessary?

Possibly. OAH does not know if the Agency Representative needs any other paperwork. Contact the Agency Representative for more information.

What should I do if a Managed Care Organization (MCO) denied my preauthorization request?
Answer 3
The MCO will send you the appeal process information. You must complete step 1 of that process before requesting a hearing (step 2). See the MCO denial letter to learn more about the grievance process with your MCO.
If you do not agree with the MCO’s grievance decision, you may request a hearing with OAH orally or in writing.
